Prof. Tarek Tutunji

Prof. Tarek Tutunji has 20+ years of experience in teaching, research, industrial and leadership roles. He obtained his Ph.D. in industrial engineering and MS in electrical engineering, both from University of Oklahoma, USA. He has practical experience in manufacturing and design development where he worked as Manufacturing Engineer with Halliburton Energy Services in Texas and as Senior Design Development Engineer with Seagate Technologies in Oklahoma. He is an active researcher where he has published more than 50 papers in high-impact journals and international conferences. His research interests are in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, System Identification and Control Systems, Robotics and Mechatronic Systems. Prof. Tutunji is currently serving as the Dean for the School of Engineering Technology at Al Hussein Technical University. He previously worked at Philadelphia University where he held several managerial positions that included: Mechatronics Department Chair, Dean of Engineering School, Dean of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies, and Dean of Development and Quality.
