Bayan Alraqqad is a Programs Specialist at the Center of Professional Developments. With an MBA in Business Administration and a BA in International Relations and Strategic Studies, Bayan has seven years of experience in education and livelihood-based project management. Her expertise lies in program design, project management, employment and outreach, and enrollment of beneficiaries for program participation. Bayan is a passionate advocate for Women’s Rights and locally-led aid in INGO and education institutions contexts, with strong cultural competency and aptitude for working in the EdTech, Entrepreneurship, and MSME sectors. She has established herself as a well-established collaborator with multi-sector governmental branches, INGOs, and private institutions within the education and ICT sectors. Bayan is a strong motivational leader who manages teams, fosters growth, and develops performance enhancement.

Throughout her career, Bayan has worked with different types of people from varying nationalities, socio-economic classes, religions, as well as refugee populations. Her passion has led her to work with INGOs and projects to empower youth, women, refugees, people with disabilities, and host communities in higher education and professional development programs. Bayan is excited to be part of a team that increases women's and youth abilities and matches them with job opportunities to leverage their sustainable economic income.

Bayan has served as a Committee Member with UNICEF-Makani Project for Anti-Violence Against Children and Women in 2019 and as a Judge for the Hult Prize Competition in 2020. She has participated in international events relevant to youth, women, refugees, people with disabilities, and host communities in Ed-Tech, such as Innovation for Crisis hosted by UNDP in 2019, and No Lost Generation hosted by UNICEF in 2018 and 2019. Bayan is a member of the UNHCR Livelihood taskforce group since 2020 and a member of the UNHCR Advocacy taskforce group for Access to Education for non-Syrian refugees from 2020-2021. In addition, she led a hackathon competition for women refugees across the MENA region in 2020 and served as an Evaluation Committee member for MSME at Ruwwad Organization in 2022.
