Eng. Sereen Alzu’bi is currently a Teaching and Research Assistant in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) . She holds a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Jordan, as well as a bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering. Her research interests lie in the areas of robotics, advanced control, industrial control, and nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS). Sereen has previously worked as an automation engineer, where she designed control systems for various industrial plants. Her responsibilities included programming various types of PLCs and designing Scada systems. She has also published a paper on a smart ambulance escort drone at the IEEE ASET conference. Sereen has been actively involved in several student projects including robotics, drones, IOT, smart homes, and others. She has also assisted teams with programming and design issues during the Sumo Robot Competition. Sereen is a member of different committees, including the Sumo Robot Team, Students Projects, Skills badge, and Labs Committee.
